Water Street

Brand North Light Fibers

On a small island off the coast of Rhode Island, Abrams Farm raises an assortment of animals, like yak, camels, and kangaroos. Their fibers are spun into yarns at a micro mill right on the farm, at North Light Fibers. Any fiber not produced there is sourced domestically.

Block Island is protected by conservation efforts and is host to a small population that blossoms in the summer. North Light Fibers also produces knit and woven objects from their yarns in conjunction with local fiber artists.

We are happy to be carrying their Water Street yarn. It’s a soft cashmere spun with sturdy merino, creating an ideal blend of fibers that knit beautifully into hats, scarves, and sweaters. This lightly heathered yarn is incredibly soft and plush, and makes a dreamy fabric with well-defined stitches.
