Nephele Sweater Pattern

Brand Nele Redweik

Make a bold statement with Nephele, from Portland designer Nele Redweik. Since we first saw the Bue vest, we’ve been entranced by Nele’s ability to match sophisticated design elements to a yarn’s special characteristics. Knit in Woolfolk’s airy Luft, Nephele is soft as its namesake – cloud – while a dramatic cable running diagonally from hip to shoulder gives this simple pullover a modern edge. Luft’s organic cotton cage adds depth and drama to the cable, while the understated construction makes this sweater suitable for year-round wear in the temperate PNW. If you love the cable, but are worried it might be a bit too impactful, try Nephele in Shibui Knits Drift or Woolfolk Får for a more subdued effect.
