5190 Miles Shawl Kit

Brand Mairlynd

German designer Melanie Berg has paired with Knit Purl & Portland dyer Bumblebirch to celebrate the connection between cities in this exclusive pattern. Named for the distance between Bonn, Germany (where Melanie lives), and Portland, 5190 miles is a striking wrap that features a shell dip stitch to heighten the synergy between colors and offer a new approach to colorwork. Glen's merino and silk blend drapes beautifully, and the kit is available in two stunning colorways: cool neutrals or vibrant jewel tones.

Looking for more color options? We recommend Shibui Knits Staccato! You will need 3 skeins of color A, and 3 skeins of color B.

P.S. Staccato's Velvet and Apple colors are very similar to the colors Melanie Berg used for this pattern.
