TO A CREATIVE COMBINATION

Exciting news this week! We've just received three new Skif samples to touch and admire. Now on display, Jess, Cat, and June are examples of lightweight, fun summer knitting.
Made with cool cellulose fibers (cotton, linen, rayon), these boxy "beach" sweaters are easy to knit and will become your go-to casual favorites. Comprised entirely of squares and rectangles of stockinette, with minimal shaping, Skif designs are ideal for low stress, no thinking knitting - perfect for taking to the theater, beach, BBQ, or the park!
Cat, shown above, is a minimalist cardigan that can be thrown over a tank and jeans or a sundress. Knit with Skif's new Cotton Tape yarn, we couldn't stop admiring the drape and lightness of the sweater when it arrived yesterday!
The sample we received from Skif was made with the Cotton Tape in Banyon, held with a laceweight darker green yarn. After a color matching session, we decided to try and pair it with Isager's rustic Viscolin. The combination will give the finished piece a more textured, crepe-like feel.
After mixing and matching several of the Skif colors with Isager and Habu Textiles yarns (which was way too much fun), we we've pulled together a half-dozen suggestions we think knitters will enjoy - at a picnic, stargazing, or anywhere else!
